Identically visual to Type 401 apart from discreet badges on bonnet and boot, but sporting major engine, suspension and transmission upgrades – now with a 100 series engine developing 100 bhp, and BW/CR5 gearbox. Some later models would be fitted with the short gear lever, and servo assisted disc brakes.
