On Saturday 4th April 2020 the Bristol Owners Heritage Trust (BOHT) Annual Lecture Day will be at the Yeovilton Aero Museum, RNAS Yeovilton, Ilchester BA22 8HT ( Sat Nav Ref: BA22 8HW )
Tickets £15 on the door.
The provisional programme includes:
1. Ian Nuthall speaking on ‘ Racing with Bristol engines ‘
2. An historic slide presentation ‘ Working at Bristol’s ‘ prepared by Andrew Blow from our archive photographs – what were the Car Division workforce and their factory floor like in the 1950s?
3. Michael Crawford presenting his review of ‘ Historic Factory Advice Notes ‘ (do you know how many Beaufighters, 603s or 411s were actually made?).
4. We will show extracts from our latest BOHT video production, the ‘ The Bristol Car Story ‘ – the Heritage Trust’s own filmed interviews with key Bristol personnel from the 1940’s onwards.
Arrive in the morning any time after 10 am, and see the Aero Museum (admission is included in our ticket price)
Lunch in the canteen, or bring a picnic, and then enjoy our talks from 2pm until around 5pm.
